the writing partner program

Have you been looking for a writing buddy? Someone to provide you with moral support, accountability, and writing feedback when you need it?

Lately, I’ve been hearing from a lot of writers who feel they would be much more productive and inspired if they could have a writing partner to help them through the highs and lows of the writing process.

I know from my own experience how crucial it is to have a writing buddy to stay on track. I attribute the completion of pretty much all of my novel drafts to my insanely supportive writing partner. Together, we set up “writing dates” where we chat and then write silently together. We also talk through major issues in our writing (and in our confidence around writing), trade manuscript pages, and give each other feedback on our stories. We even proofread each other’s manuscripts when we’re ready to send them out.

As you can see, a writing partner is a solid-gold asset to have in this writing life.

If you’re searching for a writing partner of your own, check out the Fresh Ink Writing Partner Program, which connects writers with similar interests, needs, and schedules.

  • Fill out a row in the Fresh Ink Writing Partner Database. The database is a free and easy way to discover and contact other writers in our community you’d like to collaborate with.

I’m looking forward to seeing all of you find a writing partner who can help support you in your writing progress and help you realize your writing dreams!
